Individual pyramidal indentations (96 or 384) in each reagent reservoir allow maximum liquid recovery when using the VIAFLO 96 and VIAFLO 384 electronic pipettes as well as other platforms.

Vendor : World's largest biomass gasification plant inaugurated in Finland
Metso-supplied world's largest biomass gasification plant inaugurated in FinlandHelsinki, Finland -- Vaskiluodon Voima Oy has inaugurated the world's largest biomass gasification plant, which was supplied by Metso, in Vaasa, Finland. The plant was inaugurated by the Finnish Minister of Labour Lauri Ihalainen on March 11th.
Vaskiluodon Voima's plant is ground-breaking in many ways, as this is the first time in the world that biomass gasification is being adopted on such a large scale for replacement of fossil fuels.
Clean gas from biomass
The technology of the new plant is based on Metso's long-term development work. Metso's delivery included fuel handling, a large-scale dryer and a circulating fluidized bed gasifier, modification work on the existing coal boiler and a Metso DNA automation system.

Vendor : ABB to provide process analyzers for Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG project
Analyzers to measure product quality of liquefied natural gas at new export facility on the Gulf Coast
Houston TX, USA – ABB has announced that it has been chosen to supply process analyzers, system integration and related services for Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass LNG (liquefied natural gas) export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.Located four miles from the Gulf Coast in southwest Louisiana, the new export facility is currently being built by EPC contractor Bechtel as an expansion of Cheniere’s existing Sabine Pass natural gas storage and import terminal.
When completed, it will be able to accommodate up to four LNG trains capable of processing approximately 2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day (Bcf/d) to liquefy the gas for transport and potential export. The initial project under construction includes two trains with a liquefaction capacity of 1 Bcf/d.
ABB’s delivery for the project will help to measure and control the quality of the LNG at all points in the process, by providing precise, continuous online measurements of critical variables as the gas is turned into liquid.
