Maisach/Munich/Germany -- With the analog output modules MDA16-2i/-4i/-8i, the manufacturer of measurement technology BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm) launches a module series for isolated, analog control via the PCI or PCI Express bus.If for the control of power supplies, frequency converters, or engines - potential differences between two circuits can lead to sudden discharges and cause heavy damages.
Galvanic isolation is the solution here.
With the new plug-on modules MDA16-2i, MDA16-4i, and MDA16-8i for the PCI and PCIe slot cards of the manufacturer of measurement technology BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm), the question of electrical isolation is already solved. They allow for the control of up to 8 analog outputs - isolated and absolutely safe.
Control lines can be set precisely with 16 bit resolution in the +/-10V output range. This makes the analog output modules perfectly suitable for industrial use.

Deltapilot FMB 70 hydrostatic level pressure transmitter for food, beverage, dairy & pharmaceutical apps
Greenwood IN, USA --— Endress+Hauser announces the Deltapilot FMB 70 hydrostatic level pressure transmitter for food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical applications. Its watertight CONTITE™ pressure measuring cell and 316L stainless steel housing with polycarbonate sight glass withstand harsh washdown environments in the food industry. The Deltapilot FMB 70 can measure level in units of pressure, height, volume or mass with an accuracy of 0.1%.
It can be used to measure level in silos, holding tanks, mixing tanks, filler bowls, balance tanks and other vessels.
It meets 3A sanitary standards, has a watertight NEMA 6P-rated (temporarily submersible) housing, and operates in process temperatures from 14 to 212 °F (-10 to 100 °C).
An optional remote housing can be located up to 25 feet away from the sensor, ensuring easy access and extending the life expectancy of the instrument when measurement is needed in extra-harsh environments.
The remote version has cable connections and is rated to IP69K for high pressure, high temperature wash down sprays.

New Products : Syringe pump delivers full stroke for large syringes
Click for larger imageThame, UK -- The new Legato 270 Syringe Pump available from Dorton Analytical, has an optimised user configurable syringe mechanism designed to uniquely deliver a full volume in infuse and withdraw modes whether using small or large syringes.
This reconfigurable mechanism allows the user to change the syringe clamping mechanism to hold from 0.5 ul up to 140 ml syringes.
Two removable pins adjust the syringe mechanism to allow full stoke when using larger syringes.
The Legato 270 features a continuous push and pull pump.
When used with check valves, the unit will draw fluid from a reservoir while the opposite side is dispensing fluid and after the user selected volume is dispensed, the pump will automatically switch through the check valves and refill the empty syringes while dispensing from the other side.
